Blown-In Attic Insulation

Our company utilizes loose-fill fiberglass which is a great option for new construction or existing homes (retrofit) looking to improve efficiency, increase comfort, and save money on utility bills.

This method of insulation fills in the spaces, including small and hard to reach areas, and reduces heat loss or gain depending on the temperature outside vs. the desired temperature inside.

Whether you have an existing attic with little insulation, damaged insulation, or no insulation or you’re looking at building a new home with an attic space, blown-in fiberglass could be a perfect solution!

Attic space with wooden rafters and a brick chimney stack, cellulose insulation covering the floor prepared for removal, and exposed beams.

Insulation Removal (Fiberglass & Cellulose)

Although not always necessary, this is a great way to start your retrofit fresh by pulling out the existing insulation whether it is fiberglass or cellulose.

Cellulose does have some ability to settle over the years and once compacted, can lose some of its insulating properties. Fiberglass is intended to last for the life of the home as long as it doesn’t become damaged.

In certain cases, customers will want their existing insulation removed to ensure that there aren’t any pre-existing contaminents from things like past roof damage causing leaks potentially leading to mold, or critters that have made homes and possible issues long term.

The removal of the existing insulation also allows for you check, and verify, the integrity of your home from wiring to HVAC to structural, and beyond.
